"Yad Vashem" means "a memorial and a name", from Isaiah 56:5 .  Entrance is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.  Photos are not allowed in the museums, exhibitions, or Children's Memorial. Holocaust History Museum The Holocaust History Museum was gigantic!  We entered around 9:15am and did not come out till 3:30pm! Inside was a detailed description of the Jews in Europe from Hitler's rise to power all the way to the end of World War II, which claimed the lives of over 60 million  people. Photographs, artifacts, and testimonials gave evidence to the horrors that many concentration camp survivors had endured.  Some watched their entire families killed.  Others did not learn of their parents' and siblings' fates till years after the war. There were videos of Holocaust survivors giving their testimonies.  Each was similar, yet unique in its own way.  Most of the survivors lost a lot and endured a lot.  In one story a...
